The RSX Prototype’s styling inherits the design philosophy of the Acura Performance EV concept.

The RSX Prototype, developed based on the Acura Performance EV Concept, showcases Acura’s next-generation electric vehicle development direction. Acura plans to produce the production RSX at its Ohio plant, considered a hub for electric vehicle production in the United States.

The RSX Prototype’s styling inherits the design philosophy of the Acura Performance EV concept. Leveraging the design freedom afforded by the next-generation EV platform, it features powerful proportions, deep flanks, and a coupe-like silhouette. Riding on large 21-inch multi-spoke wheels, the extended wheelbase allows the tires to be pushed as far as possible toward the body, shortening the front and rear overhangs and creating a modern, performance-focused design.

The front features Acura’s signature diamond pentagon design, with split headlights, sharp daytime running lights, and LED headlights. Yasutake Tsuchida, Acura design director, noted that the RSX Prototype embodies exceptional aerodynamics and is the beginning of a model that will redefine Acura with timeless, beautiful design and advanced technology, showcasing exceptional performance and exclusivity.
